Cheap grub is hard to come by on the Strip. Loss leader buffets and
coffee shop specials are a thing of history. Augustus cafe is expensive
and not very good.
Ellis Island is a good value. I think the wife and I had steak dinners
there once for under $10 with an LVA coupon.
LOL Pete has a real rep for grumpiness. Try using a matchplay coupon

I remember getting $2 tips on a $6 fare and I'd complain too. The
passengers would be drunk, talking loud and insultingly. Both the man
and woman would smell like puke, or worse and they would have me pull
over to let them finish their vomiting. The money would be all balled
up and I knew the air in the cab would take hours to smell right after

Psychologically, I think they are more likely to fold if you go all
in. It's not just going all in, but how you do it. You have to sell
it. You want them to look at you and see the Ad in one eye and the Ah
in the other. I'd be afraid if I bet less than all in at that point
the average player is going to put you on something like KQ or KJ

The cab

sometimes those cabbies have to wait a long time in the cabbie line to
get a fair, so naturally they want an airport run or something. one time i
saw a couple get in a cab at the mgm and cab stand attendant tellls the
driver "new york, new york" (right across the street). lol- the cabbie

I wouldn't limp to re-raise, but assuming I did and the guy bet 10x the
pot on a flop I can only win half the pot on, yeah, that's a pretty
standard fold there.

Man, I don't like that. You've got 7.5 BB. I guess you're betting 4BB
with the intention of folding to a jam from a big stack? Folding after
that bet leaves you in awful shape and has you shoving almost any 2 very
soon (blinds hit you next hand) with little fold equity as everyone is
getting great odds to call. Also, folding AK seems stupid when getting

Would you fold KQs in the BB to an all-in here? I could see doing that,
especially if I had noticed hero being relatively tight. Best case is I'm
up against an underpair and still behind. Worst case is AA, KK, AK or AQ.
I can not see being ahead and I will still have enough chips to
meaningfully double up if I fold.
